SITE VISIT: 30/04/16 Base Render, waterproofing, brick clean and architraves

First coat of render is on the facade looks good and still drying. A bit rough around some of the top and bottom parts but we assume/hope they will fix all that up when they finish it up.

Painters were in prepping the walls and said we could have a look around, we then went back later after they finished to take another look and were locked out but found an open window and let ourselves in to take some photos!

Waterproofing had also been started? Finished? Not sure exactly what it's supposed to look like as i have seen some photos of other people building with Carlisle and the floors and bath have been waterproofed. But from first glance the shower bases and wall have been done only at the moment. See what happens with this!

Brick clean had also been complete and we are still really happy with our selection of Austral Mannagum as it's a bit of a mix between a red/brown and not super obnoxious. We think it will age well as a colour and not too trendy (more timeless).

Is it super weird that i want to take a broom and some spray & wipe and start cleaning in there? haha. Benches in the laundry were quite dusty and starting to scratch the laminate on top a little (something to look out for when we do our PCI later).

Also met our other neighbours which was lovely! They are renting in the estate while their house gets finished. We exchanged business cards so we can organise fences when the time comes. Still no movement on the house to the left of us though which is strange!
