This is just a list of some things we are either going to upgrade, change, consider for the budget or just other random little notes about things we might be doing to our house design depending on costs and tender.
- Shower niches X 2 (Or just ensuite if too much)
- Outdoor powerpoints garage/backyard/eaves
- 40mm stone waterfall edge to kitchen island benchtops
- Check location of meter, downpipes and taps (So they aren't in annoying positions)
- Timber windows to just the facade master bedroom (If budget allows)
- Square inset Sink Kitchen (Drain tray?)
- Upgrade kitchen tap veggie sprayer (If budget allows)
- Extend Kitchen Bench (Allow for more leg room with stools and more bench space)
- Consider electrical costs – (Down lights etc)
- Change Kitchen cupboard layout so oven is central and cupboards symmetrical
(if budget allows) - Extra window to spare bedroom (So windows are the same as the other spare bedroom)
- Move window in study to face backyard and make large half wall window
- Make sure pot drawers in kitchen are included
- Theatre wall – close corner side wall and make doorways even size
- Window pelmets - black
- Carpet underlay cat 3
- Cat 2 laminate floors
- Garage door timber look cedar
- Shower head ensuite upgrade to large overhead rain shower with hand held
- Timber front door upgrade teak
- Front door handle upgrade
- Driveway aggregate concrete
- Landscaping front and back yard
- Curtains for all rooms
- White timber door to ensuite with transparent/frosted glass (If budget allows)
- Security locks on bathrooms, garage doors and master
- Door stops on all doors (If budget allows)
- Move manhole to garage (If roof pitch allows)
- Garage door to backyard - with transparent glass for light? (If budget allows)
- Translucent glass front door
- Outdoor lights on each wall and clothesline (Sensor lights)
- Location of taps in yards – Add another for dog water?
- Extend laundry bench with empty cavity underneath for dryer or basket
- Heating zones (If budget allows)
- Water tap for fridge
- Splashback – Check single sheet of glass no joins
- Mitred edges waterfall benches in kitchen
- Stone benches in bathrooms (If budget allows)
- Kitchen island powerpoint (If budget allows)

- Reverse cycle air con unit with (positioning of unit) in Master bedroom
- Close corner of theatre and even 900mm doorways
- Velvet thick theatre curtains for theatre openings
- Concreting for sides of house and side gate
- Door to study with translucent glass
