SITE VISIT: 08/05/16 Painting

Went for a look on Sunday and the painter rocked up while i was taking photos of the outside and offered to let me in for a look. I asked him why he was working on a Sunday and he said he had worked for the past 3 months straight!! Poor guy.

So Painting is due to finish on Tuesday 10th May - they have done the first coat on the walls/ceiling and architraves but it will all be cleaned up and finished obviously. The photos i took just give an idea what it looks like at the moment and how the colour looks on the wall.

I also called Paul our SS today (Monday) to ask about a few things to get rectified;
• Front window next to door is supposed to be frosted as well
• Bit of a wonky wall in between the fridge/pantry space
• Beam above the garage is supposed to be stoney creek (light grey) not Namadji (Dark Grey)
• Pendant lights electricals seem to be very far forward and need to be moved back a bit

Other than that, everything is looking great!

Tiles are apparently getting delivered Thursday, starting Friday. Cedar for the facade is getting delivered next week and then Fit Offs should start next Wednesday apparently.

 Facade - Garage fascia
(I think they painted the garage beam/fascia monument when it should have been Stony Creek)

Facade - Garage Fascia has been painted in Monument (Should be stony creek)

Garage - First coat of paint on walls, ceiling and architraves

Garage Fascia - Should be stony creek, looks ok though!

 Theatre - Painter showed us around and said he thinks it's not a good idea to paint all 4 walls with Western Myall (dark grey) as the room is small and that one wall extends into the hallway, which will be very dark!

Kitchen is looking like a bit of a bomb site at the moment while they paint
